Dr. Jennifer Walden Cares About Her Patients

Dr. Jennifer Walden is the owner and medical director of Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center, a job that she has handled for more than five years. The time that she has spent working at that job has allowed her to gain experience. She is experienced enough to help individuals with all kinds of issues and to know just how to give them the help that they are seeking. She once worked as the Aesthetic Surgery Program Director for the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, and that work provided her with experience, as well.

Dr. Jennifer Walden received all of the training and education that she needed through the University of Texas, studying at the Medical Branch at Galveston. She knows how to handle all kinds of cosmetic issues that people might have. She is one of the few female plastic surgeons out there, and she is proud of that. She believes that she brings something special to the table because of the fact that she is a female. She is empathetic when it comes to the needs of her patients. She is not someone who is sympathetic or who feels sorry for her patients, instead, she knows what those patients are going through and she understands their feelings. She lets her patients know that she does not judge them for what they are choosing to do but that she supports them and understands. Dr. Jennifer Walden cares about her patients and she shows that in the way that she treats them. Follow Walden

Being Pardoned After Doing Wrong

What Americans Learned About Justice

The justice of American society follows a highly political structure. This nation stands today as a leading power within the world, yet journalists Mike Lacey and Jim Larkin are challenging the U.S. society. The challenge they propose is a result of steady violence, bigotry and apparent hate within the land. There’s a lot that U.S. society is learning.

The real lessons we’ve learned come through the example Jim and Mike made the night they were arrested from their homes. The writers were later released with a substantial compensation for damages done. The world was at shock. The shocking premiss deals with a corrupt Arizonian sheriff who only barely missed a long prison sentence.

He was pardoned by the U.S. president and at the shock of the American population.

There’s A Long Road Ahead

No matter what progress was made by Mike and Jim, there’s a longer road to tread for U.S. equality. Read more: Phoenix New Times | Wikipedia and Michael Lacey | Facebook

The issues these men faced come about due to freedom of speech. The journalists were being intimidated after publishing revealing content within a city newspaper. The rights of speech in the American continent are often looked at with high regards.

The reality is different when those laws are put into practice. Exercising the rights you have as an American citizen reveals a challenging truth. Learn more about Michael Lacey Jim Larkin: http://www.laceyandlarkinfronterafund.org/about-lacey-larkin-frontera-fund/michael-lacey/

The freedoms we preach about are not as free as we would assume they are. We think of Mike and Jim’s conflict to open our eyes to the realities and difficulties of living in the United States at this day and age.

Fighting For What You Believe In

Belief stems from what you see possible in the world, for yourself or another. We need belief in order to continue our march forward in life.

Hearing the story of Joe Arpaio brings closure to the unfair developments stirring within the U.S. nation. This sheriff accused American citizens of illegally using the rights they have within freedom of speech.

The officer was also found at fault in the end. The manipulations of his power revealed to the country the types of dangers that exist. We are not only in danger because of mass shootings and corrupt political leaders.

There are criminals who target the rights we have listed in our constitution. The work of journalists Jim and Mike become a beacon of light that we now rely on.

Securus Technologies provides crucial funding to penal institutions

One of the most popular technologies that have been unveiled in the last decade within the nation’s prison system has been video visitation offered by Securus Technologies. This technology has proven to be enormously popular with both inmates and guards, allowing inmates to stay in nearly constant face-to-face communication with their loved ones on the outside of prison while also allowing guards to maintain a much safer and more predictable prison environment.

But the happiest customers of Securus’ video visitation system may be the prison administrators. Because of the enormous popularity of the system, revenues have climbed substantially over the last few years from calling services for the nation’s prisons. Oftentimes, the prison themselves collect commissions of up to 90 percent of all money spent by inmates on outgoing communications. This has provided a crucial source of revenue for many of the nation’s cash-strapped prisons, allowing them to maintain their facilities well staffed and ensure that they have enough beds to house the influx of new criminals.

This has been particularly useful in California, where prisons are often stressed to the maximum. Many of the states’ prisons have been operating at far more than capacity for decades. The new cash provided by revenues from the video visitation system have allowed many of California’s prisons to reduce numbers of inmates being housed in dangerous open-air sleeping quarters. This has allowed those prisons to vastly increase their safety record, with fewer inmate behavioral violations and fewer violent crimes being committed within institutional walls.

In other states, such as Louisiana, the revenues provided by video visitation alone provide significant sources of the total budget of some of the state’s prison. There, despite the fact that Securus has been able to keep the average cost of an outgoing phone call down to just $0.15 per minute, many of the states prisons have come to rely the revenues received from video visitation calls.
