Dr. Saad Saad Continues To Add To His Legacy Of Service And Humanitarian Aid

The world can always use more pediatric surgeons who are willing to give up some of their time to help children in need. Dr. Saad Saad is one of these kinds of medical professionals, and he has been donating his time as a pediatric surgeon in order to perform surgeries on children who have no other hope.

He first realized he wanted to be a surgeon when he was living in Kuwait. It was there that he learned about the trials of working outdoors in 100 degree weather. This motivated him to pick a profession where he would be able to enjoy air conditioning, and this ended up being in the field of surgery. In the early 2000s, Dr. Saad Saad was asked to help serve kids in the Middle East by the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF). The charitable organization was created in 1991 in order to provide medical services to children whose family cannot afford to pay for it themselves. His first case was a 15 year old child who had holes in his abdomen due to being shot by a gun.

The doctor was able to patch the holes up after the child was flown out to the United States for the surgery. After this, Dr. Saad Saad performed surgery on more kids; some who had been the victim of bomb blasts and some who had other issues.

Dr. Saad Saad has always believed that it is important for skilled and experienced surgeons to pass down their knowledge to others. He even flew out to Palestine in order to train other local pediatric surgeons and to help out where he could.

After taking part in many surgeries, where he allowed local surgeons to watch and learn, he left knowing that many of them were fully capable of performing surgery on their own. During his time in Palestine, he was more than happy to be able to help, and he has also saved the government of Palestine plenty of money because it pays for surgeries and travel expenses when people can’t afford to do so for themselves.

Over the years, Dr. Saad Saad has earned many different awards and has been recognized for his unique talents. He was honored by the president of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, who awarded him with the Gold Medal of Palestine, and he also earned a couple of awards that were given to him by the PCRF.

The governor of Ramallah and its Ministry of Health also honored Dr. Saad Saad with an award representing his humanitarian work. The good doctor has recently retired, but he will never be forgotten for everything he has done and accomplished. Simply put, there is no other pediatric surgeon like him in the world. Alastair Borthwick Contributed To Scotland’s Appeal Through Writing And Radio Casting

There are few individuals that have made a contribution as large as Alastair Borthwick has for his home country of Scotland. Not only was he a popular writer and radio broadcaster that brought sounds of new people and tourists to the country, but he also served in the military for several years. Alastair didn’t have much of an education to start out since he dropped out of high school when he was a teenager. Despite this, Alastair took a job working at a newspaper business and his skills in writing and journalism were picked up right away. In just a few years, Alastair managed to become an editor for the Glasgow Herald.

Although Alastair was doing well at his company as an editor, he ended up moving to take on an even better position at a London news company. The position was prestigious and made good money for Alastair, but he ultimately gave it up because he preferred living in rural areas rather than a bustling and growing city like London. After returning home, Alastair found a position as a radio correspondent in 1939, which allowed him to have a verbal outlet alongside his passion for writing. After a couple years working on the radio, Alastair became one of the leading authors in the entire country with a book publishing with all his best works. As a quick bestseller, Always A Little Further, is what put Alastair on the map.

Not long after Alastair’s book was published, he was assigned as an Intelligence Officer as part of the Seaforth Highlanders during the second world war. War is not a particularly fun subject or something that Alastair wanted to participate in other than protecting his nation, but it turns out it would be the best material he had written about yet. By 1946, Alastair Borthwick had written another book based on his time in the second world war covering the journey he and his squad, the Seaforth Highlanders, underwent during its duration.
